O Master is a book about dialogues of love for ones spiritual teacher, Guru or God. Much like the prattle of a babe for the mother, urging of a lover for the beloved, or cry of a soul restless for its source. Sometimes whimpering, sometimes jubilant, at other times pleading, complaining, cajoling. But all the while calling with just one emotion—love, with the sole hope that one day this call will be answered, and love with merge with the essence of love.
Rachna met her Sadguru (primary spiritual teacher) at the young age of twelve, and started to express her devotion in words. These moving devotional poems are reminiscent at times of the longing contained in Rabindranath Tagore's Gitanjali, and at other times, of succinct yet profound Japanese haikus. The four sections of the book––Prayer, Love, Longing, and Union, depict the progression of devotion and various shades of spiritual seeking. This second edition of O Master has universal appeal amongst spiritual aspirants across all ages, faiths and religions.
